Motorsport, Cedric style
The Nissan Cedric, it's
not exactly the first name that comes to mind when you mention race cars.
But race them they did. This page pays tribute to the Cedric race car.
Admittedly it won't quite rival Ferrari's motorsport page, but here it
is anyway.
A 31 series Mark 1 Nissan
Cedric competing in the East African Rally. This photo is from Nissan's
annual report for 1964, no result was listed for the car, so I assume it
didn't to too well.
In April 1968 P130 series
Nissan Cedrics finish 4th and 7th outright in the East African Rally.
In June 1968 this P130 series
Nissan Cedric finished 1st in it's class in the Shell 4000 Cross-Canadian
Rally.
