DSOA  2008 Calendar
What's happening in the Datsun Sports Car World.
These are the events that have been organised by the DSOA for the year 2008, plus some other events we will be participating in. Other events DSOA members may be interested in are displayed in GREEN.
This is NOT a full list of all our events for the year, most events are organised as the year progresses, the details of the events are discussed and finalised at the Management Committee meetings which are held every two months, and are then printed in the next newsletter.

Saturday 16th February 2008 - AGM
11am, location as per newsletter. Lunch provided



Saturday 23rd February 2008 - Dinner Run to Maroochydore
We will be having dinner at a restaurant in Maroochydore. Please be at the Caltex Garage Carseldine (UBD Map 109, ref j-16) at 4:30 pm for a 5 pm departure. RSVP Lex by 18th February 2008.



Friday 29th February 2008 - Committee Meeting
The meeting will be held at Lex and Janelle's house, address as per newsletter.

Saturday 8th March 2008 - Run to Brunswick Heads
We will leave from the BP Petrol Stop, Yatala, Exit 38 on the Pacific Motorway. Be there at 8 am for an 8:30 am departure.



Saturday 29th March 2008 - Yatala Drive-In Movie night
Meet at the BP Petrol Stop, Yatala, Exit 38 on the Pacific Motorway at 5:30 pm.



Sunday 13th April 2008 - Economy Run
Details of run yet to be finalised.

Sunday 4th May 2008 - David Hack Classic
We will leave from the Goodna BP Roadhouse (UBD Map 216, ref M-13). Meet at 7:30 am for an 8 am (SHARP!!) departure.



Sunday 11th May 2008 - Mother's Day at Maclean's Bridge
This is THE big annual event for all sports car owners. Maclean's Bridge is the largest static car display in the southern hemisphere, it is not unusual to see several hundred cars in attendence. The event has no set starting time but most cars start arriving at about 9:00am. We will be going down there in convoy this year for anyone that wants to tag along, or you can just show up there yourself at a time that suits you. Meet at the Calamvale Hotel at 8 am. Maclean's Bridge is to the south of Brisbane on the Mt.Lindsay Highway.



Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th June 2008 - DSOA Nationals, Hervey Bay, Queensland
The Datsun Sports Owners Nationals will be held at Hervey Bay in Queensland on the Queen's Birthday long weekend. Application form and details can be found here.
